About Us
Oystein Konsmo, a senior business
development executive and entrepreneur with more than twenty years
of domestic and international experience, is the principal of
Arizona Technology Trading & Consulting.
He has been a business consultant for more than ten years and has
extensive experience in business planning, financial budgeting and
management of start-ups and small, emerging companies. As the U.S.
Managing Partner of The York
Group, an international sales and marketing consulting
organization, he has developed deep knowledge of cross-cultural and
international business etiquette/relationship issues relative to
recruiting and managing business partners. Me. Konsmo is also a
Managing Partner with acceler8,
a consulting group that helps small and medium size businesses
accelerate the growth of their bottom line.
Mr.
Konsmo consulted to a medical and health services company for
several years where he provided assistance to the executive team on
a variety of business matters, including finance, operations,
project management and information technology. Mr. Konsmo
co-founded, raised capital, managed and served on the Board of a
wireless application company and established partnerships with major
customers and industry leaders, such as Coca-Cola, LM Ericsson,
Hitachi and Norwegian Telecom. He co-developed a patent that several
years later was acquired by a leading provider of wireless,
cashless, micro-transactions and networking services in the U.S. Mr.
Konsmo has been the General Manager of an ISV that developed
Production Control and CAD software for construction companies and
has project management experience from that same industry.
Mr. Konsmo earned an MBA from
Arizona State University and has undergraduate degrees in Business
Administration and Construction Management from Oslo Business School
and Oslo College of Engineering, respectively. He is a contributing
moderator to the International Forum of
www.softwareceo.com and has been a
member of The
National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) Vending
Technology Standards Committee. He is a graduate of Dale Carnegie’s
seminar in Effective Speaking and Human Relations and has been a
speaker at several business development events hosted by The U.S.
Department of Commerce, Silicon Valley Bank and law firms catering
to the technology community.
